Just read on Rotoworld that Reggie bush is going to counted on for 16 - 20 carries a game. Add in his receptions and we could have an MVP candidate by the end of the season. Either that or he will be injured by week 4 but I'm trying to stay positive.

We're going to find out what Chad Henne and Reggie Bush are really made of this year... If they don't perform the way they are supposed to this season - Henne probably won't get another starting job ever again, and Reggie Bush will never get another shot to be the "workhorse" anywhere ever again either.

If the OL can open holes, i see no issue with Reggie being the main guy. Not sure when the NFL turned into the thinking that the workhorses have to be bigger stronger backs. Reggie looks in great shape and looks like he can handle it.

The problem is in reggie's career the more carries he has the less effective he becomes and he's played behind a good OL in NO. I think reggie is best as a part timeer carrying the ball and a guy who will catch a ton of passes. get him in open space and he is dynamic.

Id be surprised if he gets that many carries. The coaches and our o line play won't allow it.

I have been a fan of Reggie since his college days, I have always found backs like him fun to watch. Saying that, I have never seen him in the shape he is in now. I dont think he respected the work aspect of what it took to be succesful in the NFL early in his career. He thought he could just coast on skill alone. I think he understands this now and is going to have a huge year if our OL can play atleast half decent.

Can't believe they couldn't just resign Ronnie. Now we have no running game to speak of. Reggie is a good weapon to have but sure as hell is not a solution to a running game. Guess we gotta rely on LJ now.. smh

20 carries a game ? Don't see it. More like 10 - 12 carries, 6 - 8 passes.

Ronnie and/or Ricky NEVER avg 20 carries a game and both were more durable.

10 carries for 50 yards , 6 passes for 80 yards . I'll take that anyday.

Our OL is a mess and our primary back is a scatback? Are these guys serious? Please remind me what these clowns came here preaching. Oh that's right, offensive line and running game. How funny that both are now weak spots and this is now year 4. Simply unacceptable. And this is on Jeff "Safe-Pick" Ireland as much as it is on Captain Fistpump.

I give them a chance to be good. " Fists WILL be pumped " as you say.

6 receptions a game is 96 catches in a season over 16 games
and 80 yards receiving a game is 1280 yards receiving

NO WAY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WILL BUSH GET
96 receptions for 1280 yards this season

If he stays healthy. I think its entirely possible. maybe not the yards but one has to remember. Bush is our 4th/5th WR. He will be split wide often or in motion from rb to wr. we certainly will use reggie more than NO.

If they resigned Ronnie we would still have no running game. What did Ronnie do for us last year?

I like RB by commitee. I like the a no huddle passing attack week 1 vs NE, get Haynesworth and Wilfork Sucking wind early.
