Reggie Bush, On Why Miami Dolphins Struggle: “no Accountability”

Those who think this is the only reason are in a remarkably tightly-knit group of hatred.
The Browns were as dysfunctional as any team in recent memory.

In comesMayfield...along with being better than us.

Because of a half game in 2018?

Okay. Here's a point of reference. As frustrating as the Fins have been this decade? To equate the Browns and the Fins record-wise this decade? The Browns would have to win 19 straight, while the Fins lost 19 straight.

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Math is hard for you, I'm guessing?

And just as a suggestion...before you start critiquing the posts of other people?

Either learn how to edit posts...or learn how to use a space bar.

How is this math for you?

The Dolphins went from 6-10 in 2017, to 7-9 in 2018...WOW, look at that ONE GAME improvement!!!!!

On the other hand, the Cleveland Browns went from 0-16, (previously going 1-15)...and are fresh off of a 7-8-1 record.

Even your rose-colored glasses can see the greater improvement was by the Browns, and it was due to the play of a rookie QB who is better in his rookie season than INTannehill has been in his career.

Now, how is THAT math looking to you now?

Accountability comes in many ways but I know what Reggie means. Accountability is coming more from the staff not doing a good job of getting players to either A)Buy into a system or B)Adjusting the system around the players. It has been a common issue under Philbin and Gase (For all Sparano's weaknesses as a head coach/OC he did get players to consistently buy in and play hard)

Math is so easy to cherry pick... you are right that the Browns needed a QB...you are right that the QB made a big impact...

Did you overlook everything else they did to make sure the QB had a shot at being a winner?...back in the day we had an all world QB.... nice W/L record but.....

We need a TEAM that can EXECUTE plays and a COACH that can take the players he has and create a game plan/scheme that fits the players... and, oh yeah, a QB that has the ability to improvise on the fly... because the QB has to be a winner on the inside before it translates to game day.... you can't coach or teach the intangibles that have been missing from our past few QB's... they HAVE to be a game changer at some point... if that position doesn't have a guy that "gets it"... then you can't sustain success as a team IMO

It was 50 yards one carry and then 10 yards total for the 15 carries after

No consistency with bush in Miami. Glad we dumped him when we did.

"Math is easy to cherry pick," is the language used when all there are are statistics. There is also an eye test involved. Mayfield passes it Tannehill doesn't/hasn't.
What did Cleveland do that we haven't done? Well...they drafted a QB until they got it right, and they canned a subpar coach.

The Dolphins have purged everyone and everything...yet the last man standing for the past 7 years has always been Tannehill. When he is in the rearview we can see how this team compares to the trajectory of the Browns.

The knee slapper here is that a team that was the brunt of jokes for over 7 years is being used for comparison...the question is which team was the joke for the past 7 years?
