11 carries for -5 yards today. 81 carries for 207 rushing yards; he's averaging just 2.56 ypc so far this season.

look at his recieving stats.
not that impressive either.

very disappointing season so far. no other way to spin it. he's just not the gamebreaker people thought he would be. at this point he's just a body on the field. aaron stecker could do the same job.

Dissapointing what are you guys talking about. Hes on pace end up with 1400 all purpose. He being used properly and how you suppose to use him. Yards are Yards. Last time I check a 20 yds punt return is just as good as a 20yd Run. Gets you closer to the endzone and scoring points. When the last time a rookie Rb had over 1400 yards? 1 person Barry Sanders. The saints already have a grinding RB in Duece so for Reggie to do that will be a waste of a 1st rd pick.

I said from DAY 1 that Mario Williams was the right choice and that Bush will be an avearge player.

Mario Williams is really lighting it up.

Reggie Bush has been disappointing, except his one TD his punt returns have been average at best, he has a lot of receptions but his YPC isnt that great

2.56 ypcarry is HORRIBLE especially when Duece is averaging 4.8, its not like they cant block

Rookie RB

davis - 1,031 rushing 351 receiving, 61 returning = 1,443 yards

portis - 1,508 rushing 364 receiving = 1,872 yards

tomlinson - 1,236 rushing 367 receiving = 1,603 yards

edge - 1,553 rushing 586 receiving = 2,139 yards

edit: nice of you to delete your post.

not for #1 overall.
hes' progressing each game though. a lot more than you can say for bush. ;)

there really isn't much progression bush can make, either. he's a specific type of player, and that player isn't one who's going to succeed well between the tackles or on the perimeter. so...he's a WR.
