For people with short memories:

Bill Belichick releases Lawyer Milloy, who goes to the Bills, the firs game of the season, was Bills-Patriots, the final score was: 31-0. Everyone jumped on the Bills Bandwagon, everyone talked about how darn much the Patriots sucked. I watched that game and the Bills were dominant they looked like contenders, with passion, man did they look good.

They obviously did not reach the playoffs, they finished with a loosing record, and the other team went on to win a superbowl.

Moral of the story: Get excited, but wait, do not jump on that we can reach a superbowl, take it one game at a time, support the team, and hope that it can go all the way, but dont fill the bubble with hot air, take a wait and see approach, we are just away from a 4-12 season, anything better than that and played with a lot of heart, is going to be a great improvement, because we are seeing that with more players that are to his liking and with the development of young players (vickerson, Wright, DAniels) we will be great in a year, but don't put us in the playofs just yet.

before this win ive thought we had a superbowl caliber team. My prediction was going 13-3 and winning the superbowl. I know its only one game. I'm really excited to the Jets game on sunday, if we are serious, which i think we are, we need to beat them.

Damn good point.

But I expect the Dolphins to win week in and week out, obviously it doesn't always happen, but I always expect them to win no matter what.

Did you just draw a comparison between those idiots in Buffalo and the Miami Dolphins? Come on, now.

True, but that was the Bills. They are known for dissapointment.

They sure were disappointing sending Marino home all through the 90's.

BTW- we blew out the Jags week two aswell...Actually our first loss was against you. :yell:

Of course the doubters are doubting. It is only one game. A great game and ones the fans have needed for a long time. But definitely let it build. What a great feeling to think we can go to the JETS turf and win.

I know, I hope we will win absolutely every sunday, actually every time i enter a football pool or a pick 'em league, I pick the Dolphins to win every sunday. But I remember things, and i remember getting excited, and I have found that i like more to be surprised, than to be disappointed, so i am going to consider that this team still has to prove themselves, out on the road, and against better teams than the Broncos, and once teams have really jelled, and everyone is on the same page. So I'm putting the Dolphins to the superbowl Bandwagon on hold for now.

i figured our team would get better as the season went on.... but we started out playing so well that probably wont happen

i can think of a number of times the fins have had big wins that didnt really matter
like when we beat up on St Louis and played so well against NE, but we were still a bad team

or like thanksgiving a few years ago when jay feidler looked like marino when we embarassed the cowboys... but then we didnt even make the play offs

i am so excited about this win, but i still dont think we will fair better than 8-8 at best

Not only did we Blow the Pats out in week one, we then blew the Jags out in week 2.

Until we beat NE in NE or another top team in their house, I really dont get too high anymore after a win.

Yeah, I remember that game. :rofl3:

Went to a sports bar with a friend from work who is a closet Buffalo fan (Gee, one little letter change at the end there and that sounds so much funnier)... anyway, we tore you guys a new one that game and your offense just never recovered after that. Seems the blueprint was posted that night for the rest of the teams on your schedule to copy.

Here's hoping we stick it to the Jills like that again this year!

Go 'Phins!!!
