Point is, New England beats Carolina 32-29 in the Super Bowl.
Losing on opening day is not that big of a deal

So we lost to the Super Bowl champs, it happens. 16 teams are going to lose this weekend. We just got beat by a better team, thats all.

I'll never understand why fans of other teams hang around here so much, some give some insiteful input, some just try and get everyone fired up.

I would never spend 1 second of my life on the Bills/Jets/Partiots boards to discuss football. I want to discuss it here, amongst fans of my team...

So Everyone Needs To Realize That 4 Of Our Last 5 Games In The Last 6 Weeks Have Been Against Top Tier Defensive Fronts (jax, Tampa,carolina, Pittsburgh), And This Experience Has Only Made Our Offensive Line More Experienced And More Physical.

The Lesser Teams We Play, We Will Dominate As A Result Of This Experience

Think about this,
Most backup QB's usually don't play when they first come into a game. You get rusty by not playing, but Charlie Batch has been playing a lot this pre-season and so there is no rust on him.

yeah they may have had there backup QB playing. but they deffinetly still had "fast" willy parker. that guy is a freak. he ran all over us at will last night.

I think they're better but not a lot better. I think if this game happens later in the season it could go completely different. The Steelers have already learned how to win the big games and the Fins aren't quite there yet. I look forward to next Sunday.

Uh, yeah, I guess.

But backup QBs don't play because they aren't good enough to start. CB was not only good enough to start, he was good enough to lead his team to a victory over us. Trust me when I tell you, we are going to face probably 10 or 11 QBs this season that are better than Charlie Batch.
