Wayne said that he will do anything to win. spend as much money and get players to win. i dont know for sure but i think wayne would have more say in the ricky situation than cam cameron. if he will do anything to win, and keeping ricky williams will give them a better chance, then he MIGHT keep ricky around. im not say he is gonna keep him but if he is reinstated then we should consider it and not say for sure he is gone. i personally would still like to see him back because i want to win. he still is a great running back. we cant put all of our balls in his basket and have the season rest on his shoulders but we can rely on him to help.

First off, Cam and Randy have the final say because Wayne gave it to them. Wayne likes to stay out of all the football moves(he is not Jerry Jones) and let the guys with the real knowledge make the moves.

Also, Wayne is the guy that is trying to get his $8.6 million back from Ricky and was publicly upset when Williams retired in 2004. Even if Wayne had final say(which he doesn't), I think Wayne would kick him to the curb also.

Ricky is washed up and done anyways.

Please......please.....pretty please!!!!!! Let Ricky go!

Wayne already has said it was up to CaM and Randy about Ricky

forget him and move on.

cmon, do you REALLY think Cam said that without first consulting H.Wayne about the 8.5 million dollars at stake? He's history, gone, never on our team again, he can go let down some other team now.

The Ricky Williams saga pre-dates the current regime .

You are right in saying that Wayne has to sign off on the debt issue but otherwise its up to CamRan to decide whether Ricky has a place on the team or not.

Wayne delegates that responsability to the people he hired to do the job. This is as it should be.The Jones,Snyder and Davis hands-on type of owners are a dying breed and are the exception to the rule IMO.

This thread is all very nice, but why do we continue to get threads about a guy that can't, at the very least, be available to us until September sometime ?? Let it go for now...you want to bring it back up in late August...fine, but what's the sense now ??

when ricky was in egypts land let my ricky go:sidelol: . I was ready for rickys episode of how the fin turns to be over in 2004. lets just cut ties and stoip the bleeding. Ricky may be the biggest train wreck since britney spears and anna nicole. So far rickys time with the fins has been harder to watch than the dixie chicks farting in unison

Help do what??? Keep the Fins franchise in disarray for another three years???

Ricky's played 12 games in the last 3 seasons!!!

He quit on the team in 2004 -- right before training camp which insured that all the decent FA RBs were already signed by other teams (and I think that there were some decent ones out there earlier that year).

Williams more or less forced Miami to take a RB with their first pick in the 2005 draft because his status was still uncertain at the time ...

He played decently in 2005 for the 12 games he was eligible -- and then promptly broke the drug policy again and earned a year's suspension. He didn't look too impressive in the CFL even before he broke his hand.

Now, after supposedly being "clean" all of 2006, some snafu (Ricky claims it's not drug related while ESPN says it is) holds up his earliest possible reinstatement date to September ... and you think the Fins "can rely on him to help" win games??? :sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol:

Bro, first off you need a back up running back that is going to be there for the season, and not running to get the door because his next package just arrived.

Gosh man this just sounds like a pitiful cry for help here. Get over Ricky already for the love of god! You sound as if Ricky is the savior or something.
