a lil quick short update for those taht forgot...Crowder would hav ebeen a SENIOR THIS YEAR IN COLLEGE. He would have been declaring right now to the NFL. he got a 2 year head start into the NFL and taht also means he is very young. Can't wait to see his force netx year or two after the so called "freshman sophmore experience of his" in the NFL at a younger time. he has 2 year sof less experience if u go by the fact he should have been a SR but he has 2 years of NFL experience now. so technically, in 4 yrs it would have been his sophmore year in the nfl. thats crazy and good news.

I wonder where he'd rank if he were in the draft this year...I mean he'd definitly be right behind Willis as far as ILB are concerned. He'd probably be an early 2nd, late first if he came out this year. Thats pretty cool to think about.

He's going a little unnoticed in our defenses success, but he is a vital part in it.

being a huge gator fan, i always thought crowder was something special, he is improving a lot, this year he has been underrated because of the success of jason/zach and the much improving secondary

i also like brandon siler, he is going to be a great linebacker also

yup next year he would of been a rookie and he is going to be dominate but think of 2 more years wow mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! i cant wait!

the way i see it is...if we didnt get him last year....it would have prolly turned out that he def wouldnt be a dolphin in 07....IMO...so i'm glad he came in when he did....bc he has that extra two years to develop in the league and have a longer career as well...

Crowder has progressed nicely this year.
He has a chance to be a special player if he continues to progress. Worst case scenario he's a solid LB.

Meanwhile.....

:couch:

waiting for the inevitable "Crowder is a bust" post from the usual young player bashers around here.

Channing Crowder is going to be the future of our defense. He's learned from one of the best in the buisness which is going to make him that much better.

One part of his game he needs to improve on is creating turnovers one per year is not enough.

definitely first round material

Had he stayed at UF he would have gone in the first.
He can only get better.

I am a huge Gators fan, so I was very happy when we drafted Crowder because I was already a big fan. Selfishly I wish he was still with the Gators, at least for this last game against the Buckeyes, but I'm glad he made his way to the Phins. While I think he's definitely a solid player, I would like to see some more blitzing packages implemented for him. I think he could easily have 7-10 sacks a year with his speed and knack for being around the ball... I also pray that he stays healthy because he did have some injury concerns coming out of college.
