The Dolphins have promoted FS Renaldo Hill to the starting lineup.

He passed Chris Crocker, who started the first two games and totaled only four solo stops, and Jason Allen, who is no longer even in the conversation. Hill will mostly sit back in center field, making him a mediocre IDP bet.

The good news Im glad this move was made cause in all honesty when Hill has started before with Bell, they were are pretty good together and the secondary was not the crap shoot it is today. The Bad news Jason Allen is an official bust. Saban really messed up with picking Allen when there was so much talent ahead of him. Guys like Greenway, Cromartie, Santonio holmes and Nick Mangold.

You can't trade a player that no one will want. I guess maybe they could get a 7th to a desperate team like they got for Travis Daniels. I don't imagine Jason Allen is on the team next year and would guess he would be traded for next to nothing around draft time.

Wow, I can't imagine someone so athletic sucking so bad in practice that he is not even in consideration for playing time.

Did Jason kick the DB's coach dog? What a waist of a pick!

How sad this is, Jason Allen is the best FS on this team, and our stubborn bullheaded coaching staff won't start him. This is the Tillman and Bell situation all over again. How disappointing.

This is the 3rd defensive coaching staff that wants nothing to do with him. I highly doubt there's any sort of conspiracy mounting at this point.

Every time I hear that name I think of that scene from the Jerky Boys when the guy is running from the mobsters and hides in the bathroom stall "Is that you Renaldo" Something has got to happen with that secondary. Somebody has got to make a GD play!!! I guess they play musical DBs until somebody does something. Crocker sucks, anybody but him. I'd rather try out a WR that isn't getting it done as a DB than Crocker.

I'd definitely agree with you except he seemed to be an obvious and instant upgrade as soon as he FINALLY stepped on the field last year and he looked good in the preseason. Maybe it's his attitude, IDK but something is odd here.

Once is an anomoly, twice is a trend, three times is a pattern. There is a reason that every coaching staff dosen't play Allen and it's because he's garbage. He might flourish with a team like the Pats because they have a scheme that was similar to what we used to run when Saban was here and what Allen was drafted for. He's got athletic talent but in the NFL everyone has athletic talent so it's gotta be something mental with him.
