How about this guy today. We all had some disdain with Chris Crocker and rightfully so blown assignments and missed tackles would get any fan base angry. But our coaching staff finally made the decision to sit him down in favor of RENALDO HILL?!

Well color me surprised because he played a very good game. He didnt blow any assignments now some may say dont get excited about that that his job well when your other starting safety got burned so much he should be in the ICU thats is something to get excited about. He was all over the field and was probably a big reason our secondary held down Moss and Welker. Pressure was another reason. Anyway he kept with his assigments and had his hands on the ball alot during this game. Now during the off week he probably should work with a JUGS machine cause he looks like he cant catch a cold hahaha.

GO FINS!!! a couple weeks of good practices then lets take it to the chargers WOOOOHOOOO

That bobbled should a' been INT was funny in hindsight (although it would have been less funny if the game had actually been close...) But Hill has had a couple INTs for us in the past, so I think he will get that part of his act together.

dude! the reason Hill did so well was because our Defline did so nasty and put pressure on the qb, and also Y.Bell was ALL OVER the field. after every play i saw #37 getting up from the pile or walking away from the ball. he was an absolute ball hawk!!! thats what we have been missing this whole time.

I won't deny it, but I think Hill had a role in Bell playing well, or rather, Crocker had a role in Bell not playing as well based on all the talk about Hill's communication skills.

Spot on and thats probably something Sparano will use this and next week to bring players back down to earth.

why would you be surprised? he was a playmaker for us 2 years back, getting tackles, interceptions and returning a fumble for a TD.

you act like hill is a bad safety? i think he is a solid safety, and i always have thought this

idk Hills inconsistent...He definately has a tough time catchin and he wasnt that impressive yesterday. He was maybe better yesterday than the first 2 weeks but in that game against the Jets when Favre tossed up that prayer on 4th down he came running in and left Stuckey wide open to just jump up and easily catch what shouldve been knocked down easily. He makes alot of stupid coverage mistakes, but hes gotta be better than Crocker

I was going to say the same thing. Bell was on the ball all day long.

Wasn't it Hill that had that INT called back for the poor call on Holiday for roughing the passer?

Hill has been the best Safety (coverage wise) on this team ever since hes been here.

I thought the whole secondary played good. Many sacks were because of coverage.

This seconday line up we have now is the best we have had in a few years and Hill and Bell have the talent for the position. The problem with these guys is that they are injury prone which is the same MO on Goodmen. All 3 of these guys are still trying to get past injuries. They are good players but Miami needs to look for some replacments moving forward who can stay healthy.
