While one published report Sunday indicated the Buccaneers were going to part ways with director of player personnel Dennis Hickey after the draft, another report Sunday claims the club hadn’t yet made up its mind on Hickey.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, new Buccaneers G.M. Jason Licht was slated to meet with Hickey on Wednesday, and Hickey’s future was to be “evaluated” as he remained on thepersonnel staff.
Earlier Sunday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reported that the Buccaneers were expected to let Hickey go after the draft.
The Dolphins hired Hickey as General Manager on Sunday.

At this point it doesn't matter he has been hired now let's see him build a winner.

Is it just me or has the reporting on this entire situation been more back-and-forth than any other GM search ever done? One reporter says one thing and another says something completely different. How any one can regard the reporting on the Dolphins as factual or having an ounce of integrity at this point is beyond me. The very reason why I'm taking a wait and see approach. The reporting has been nothing more than entertainment at a comical level.

This was a big deal to those who didn't want Hickey. Notice this thread is very quiet now. That isn't a coincidence.

So true it goes against everything they've posted in the last two days.

All this does is proves what bull**** fast social media is. Well that and how quickly some here run with every written word without ever really making sure what they heard is true. How do they do that? Wait and don't judge on the spot.
