Running back Michael Bennett made his first free-agent visit, arriving in New Orleans on Wednesday. Bennett will visit with the Saints then decide where to go next. "It was a great visit," Bennett said.

Bennett wasn't sure where he is going next. But he said the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins have expressed interest.

IMHO his speed game would be a great change of pace to the power game of Ronnie and good insurance in case Ricky is suspended or traded.

Another RB? That's still a big "IF" about Ricky.

Don;t forget Sammy Morris might be leaving...I think this might be more about looking to replace him if he leaves!

I doubt we have interest. Where would he fit and why would we want him? We have Ricky and Ronnie, Minor just re-signed. Why would we need him.

We have Ricky pending on Ricky's appeal. In any case, depth is never a bad thing, especially at RB. Look at Green Bay.

My problem with Bennett is that he's injury prone, but if he can stay healthy he is one of the fastest RB in the NFL.

All because they are small and fast doesn't mean they run the same...

Minor is a completely different runner than Micheal Bennett.

I know that he is a fullback but what about Beasley from the 49ers?
Anybody:
Bennett would be nice too

Ricky is far from a sure thing; in fact, the odds are against him. Nick's taking care of all contingencies, as usual.

Sammy Morris is an UFA...he is gone...he could return, but Bennett would be an upgrade over Morris as a RB....as a STer, I'm not so sure...

Would like to have him but sure wish Saban would look at a CB or S...

He meant Fred Beasley was a FB. Nicely done, though.
