When the final seconds ticked off a disappointing 2018 season for the Miami Dolphins it was a forgone conclusion that Mike Tannenbaum would be fired. At the time he wasn’t. Owner Stephen Ross instead moved out of the football operations side of the business and reassigned him somewhere else. It now appears that “somewhere” else is in Arizona.

Since being reassigned no one really knew what Tannenbaum’s role was with the team but according to a report by Ian Rapoport, Tannenbaum is leaving Miami entirely and joining the Cardinals.

A busy day for the @AZCardinals just got busier: Arizona is expected to announce former #Dolphins executive VP Mike Tannenbaum to a front office position. Things heating up in the desert with a veteran hire.

Bad for the Cardinals, but good for us.:pbj::pbj::pbj::biggrin:biggrin

After 2 failed organizations how this guy is able to land any position is beyond me. What makes him hire-able? This definitely is addition by subtraction.

He got the jets to back to back afc championship games. Saying he is a failure is a little much.

He was also saddled with a loser qb and a loser coach in Miami.

That loser QB got Clay and sims and Rishard and Landry paid. All of who are getting or have been released, except Landry.

I bet they might not think he is (was) a total loser.. as far as helping them get paid.

I’m pretty sure the amount of people he got cut far outweighs the number of players he got paid.

It is pretty ridiculous how vilified Tannenbaum is around here

Both the Jets and Browns were in shambles when he left and now the Dolphins as I predicted years ago when he showed up here. So I would argue the point with you.

The jets were 4-12 the year before he got there. He was 57-55 with them and made the afc champ twice. To call him a failure there is an overstatement.

And given him any credit or blame for the Browns is lol.
