they have had over a YEAR to do this ... they are not even close to working out the major sticking points..looks like they just want to kill the "golden goose" GREED rears its ugly head again.As much as i hate to say it .. I hope they all get waht they deserve..NOTHING.
 
talk about procrastinating, if i did my job like some of these people, i wouldnt have one.

They have to get to $94.5 million by 10 AM Thursday morning...I think it will get done....they are only 4% apart (56% versus 60%).

There is still a chance. Every labor negotiation, no matter what the profession, seems to always go down to the last minute. It's human nature.
 
i just hate football having the problems that baseball has.
 
I think they both deserve to LOSE money this year .. the players And the owners .. that is the only way to teach these mongoloids a lesson...and roman I am well aware of what we have to do capwise but the other numbers you mention are the revenue sharing numbers and let me tell ya 4% is a big deal!350 million a year difference i believe...not to mention that upshaw has said there will be no cba if the owners dont agree to the revenue sharing first .. it is just a complete mess and there is no reason for it with all the huge tv contracts this should never have gotten to the point it has.As a fan i feel like boycotting the whole darn thing .
 
i think a deal will get done. the same thing happened in the NBA this past off season. if this deal does happen, and we end up with 10 to 15 million more in cap space, i think that leaves us poised to go after LeCharles Bentlely, i dont know if Brees is a lock with all the possible talent at QB in the draft, trade, and FA. not that i wouldnt like to see Brees here, i just dont think he is a lock. In fact, it might help us if he goes to a team picking ahead of us in need of a QB because it will help one of the top 3 QB's fall.
