REPORTS: Shelby Signs Tender

[h=3]According to Greg Likens of The Finsiders, defensive end Derrick Shelby has signed his restricted free agent tender.[/h]The 6-2, 282-pound, Shelby is entering his fourth season in the NFL in 2015, all with the Dolphins. In his career, he has appeared in 47 games with one start and recorded 66 tackles (49 solo), 5.5 sacks, one interception, one pass defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. In 2014, he appeared in 15 games and recorded 26 tackles (21 solo), a career-high three sacks and his first career interception.

Based solely on performance, I would probably agree with you. I'd like to see what Dion can do given a complete off season of training, training camp and no suspensions to deal with. This should be the year for all those. If he doesn't produce, might not be in the stars for us ot make it work for him with the Phins. He's gotta show something more on a consistent basis....

Great news. He's the type of underrated player that the D line needs to keep it solid while the LB and secondary positions are full of holes.
