I don't see many people talking about this but does anyone else notice that Jones seems to play at an entirely different level then anyone on the defense? He is a playmaker. Always around the ball. Makes plays behind the line of scrimmage on a regular basis. He plays with a violent swagger. I wish we had more players like him. Agree or Disagree?

I agree, excepting the Denver game. He's been a beast this year.

That's how he played before he got his huge contract. He was a disappointment after the contract. Seems like getting suspended opened his eyes a little bit.

He was one of my favorites when he was at UGA. I was so excited when we drafted him......couldn't believe he was available in the 5th.

There was also some discussion about how he's being used now (more like 2012) compared to how he was used last year.

I guess out of all the crap Ireland drafted he was bound to hit on one.

He has played back at pre-contract level. This was the type of play we expected out of him when he was signed to the contract extension.

daytona that sig always gets me in trouble. My fiancé always seems to just catch a glance and asks me what the hell am I looking at:)

he is our second best player on d

He's playing more as a freelance this year like he did in 2012. Gives him the opportunity to diagnose plays more freely, which is a strength of his. Dude has a nose for where the play is going. That also gets him into trouble at times when plays stretch outside and then move back in because he has a tendency to over pursue. Either way, he has balled out this year and he can lay some wood on receivers.
