Rest easy guys on subtractions from the current team. Saban hasn't been working with these guys to just let them go at the first fiscal opportunity. The veterans that we have are quite cabable of playing a few more years so forget about the "trade taylor or Zach" threads and I believe we will be hanging on to guys like Holliday and Carter for a few years to come. Let's concentrate on what we can add and not on what we can give up.

I think the only notable veterans that go in the offseason are Howard, Zgonina, Seau(FA), Madison, McKinney(FA), TeBuckey Jones, McDougal(FA). The rest, unless beaten out in training camp, stick around and are replaced piece-meal. I think now it will be a stage of slow building and strategic placement of newcomers, rotating in youth with vets until ultimately the team is stacked with studs who play balls to the wall for 60.
