I just looked at NFLPA.ORG and several of my players have restructured and one player I want to keep has been signed additionally. Originally I made my team 2/11/07 But as of 3/2/07 these are the salaries

Brett Basenez QB 360,000
Jake Delhomme QB 1,400,000 (AFTER RESTRUCTURING)
Mike Wahle 1,000,000 (after restructuring)
Mike Rucker 1,000,000 (after restructuring)

Question. Can I use the new salaries and Basanez to my roster?

Not gonna happen.

Do you understand the slippery slope you would be opening up? We would have to completly start over, then pick a point in time where we stick to what is....There is going to be MUCH change in the real NFL between now and preseason. If we tried to honor all that, it would be the middle of the season before we could do our thing

A) You CANNOT keep that extra player
B) You CAN switch those salaries to the new ones.

I dont think you can switch the saleries....I thought that we had to adhere to the point when we started. Where do we draw the line of restructures if not? We are starting FA on Sunday, and keeping up with re-structures as well as our cap could get pretty hairy....

What do you mean? You can update your players restructured salaries. The restructuring rule ONLY applies to players that you started out with, not ones you signed or trade for.

Saint Greg already adressed these issues in this thread.

And it is here in Greg's League Rules Post/thread.
If a player restructures his salary, you may change it as long as he is still on his original team and the salary change shows up on NFLPA.org. Once a player is traded, his salary stays the same unless he is cut.
