Okay so after watching the dolphins game last night after i got home from my trip i was really angry . . . Hell i even put a post on how angry i was and how bad miami sucked . . . But after watching most of the game again this morning . . I started to think that we def are much improved from last year and that i really think we're going to be alright . . . That second touchdown by favre still should of never happened but . . What can ya do . . . Miami played with heart and thats something the team really lacked last year . . . We had them on their heels in the 4th and really dominated the end of the game . . If we put up that effort earlier . . It wouldn't of been close . . . . Go dolphins . . .

The Jets with Brett almost lost the game. Fins have a completely new team and coaching ad almost pulled it off.
We have to give a little time for this team to jell.
I enjoyed the game something I haven't done watching the Fins in a long time.

Exactly. There was hope. Even up until the last second. What we need is time. We are a very young team, but as the season goes on, we will get better.

We mad soooo many f'in mistakes and yet we were still in the game... just gotta think how good are we gonna be when we stop shooting ourselves in the foot....

That first and goal at the end of the game shoulda been a run... instead we gave up a sack for a loss of 6... just bad mistakes like that are what we need too improve on... Bad play selection on that one....

It kind of makes me wonder how much this team will progress this season. I think back to 2002 and 2003, the last two years we had pretty good teams. We started out fast, I think at one point we were 5-2 or 6-2 in 2002, and faded down the stretch.

In 2005, we started out too slowly and limped to 3-7, then won 6 straight to close out the year 9-7, but were already eliminated from playoff contention at like 5-7.

Now I'm not stating playoffs this year, personally I'm pegging us going 6-10, but if we can start out a little better than in 2005, perhaps making it to 4-3 going into that 3 game homestand, things just might be a little more interesting in November and December than they've been in Dolphinland in a LONG time.

I really believe that Arizona and New England are winnable road games - provided with the caveat that we figure out how to run the football, and stop James and Maroney, but 2-1 with an extra week to prepare for the San Diego Chargers at home doesn't sound too bad to me.
