Let me preface this by saying that I'm shocked our ST coach still has his job.

But, yesterday our kick return game looked pretty good. I'm surprised teams don't incorporate a fake reverse more often. I don't know if you can attribute the drastic improvement to the fake reverse alone, but it's difficult to argue with the results. And, it sets up Ginn for the only thing he's really good at: running off the reverse.

Am I the only one very impressed by that aspect of yesterday's game?

It was definitely effective. I guess the idea was that our blocking is so atrocious it doesn't matter if we have one less blocker if it gives us one more returning option. Sort of the opposite of the Wildcat, in a way, lol.

As others have pointed out in other threads, the only way for it to keep working is to actually run the reverse off it from time to time. I hope they continue to work on it - it got us an extra 10-15 yards of field position yesterday.

I noticed the chargers used it last night. I'm thinking they must have did it to us last week and we stole it.

After the Atlanta game the speical teams have been improving alot. I am not saying that they are good by any means but they were really bad so where we are now is a vast improvment. I believe our kicker had to make a assist in a couple of tackles yesterday which is never a good sign though. Still are starting to look more of what a special teams unit is suppose to look like and I agree with your observation that the ST coach had to be on a very short leash. Last year the ST were a lot worse.
I think our seconday took a big step yesterday confidence wise still a big tight end was what was giving us fits accross the middle so maybe the Bills are light in that department. Of course QB is our real issue now regardless of all of Hennes praises. 6 sacks and 2 fumbbles caused by a Buffalo defense playing on our field. There are going need to be some serious adjustments and improvements in our passing offense for us to move the ball against the Jets defense and keep Henne upright at the same time.
