what ya'll think of Derrell (SP) Revis - CB Pitts?

some reports/articles have him as the best cover Corner in college and including the fcat he is a Jr. has great speed and instincts on the deep ball.

I think we need to worry about O Line before looking at any D backs.

if he declares, definitely wouldnt mind seeing him in a fins uniform. Im interested to see what he tests like in his agility drills and what not.

Darrelle Revis is easily one of the best players in the country. He has good size for a CB and is very aggressive against the pass and the run. He is also a threat in returning punts as evident by his punt return against West Virginia this year. One of college football's greatest plays this year.

I've heard he's a great Corner.
But OL is more of a priority IMO.

not a good crop of DBs coming out this year, there will be much better next year, i say we focus on all the good QBs and DEs

Good 2nd round cb if he leaves....Speed is a need on defense and hes got it.

I think we need an OL and LB first.

He's a good DB. I've only seen him in 3 and a half games and I liked what I saw. He has great instincts. Reminds me a little of PacMan Jones with regard to his playmaking skills. Pretty sure he's a speedster too. But I wouldn't take him for Miami in the 1st. I'm just not too attracted to the prospect of going DB in the first this year. I'd rather get a nice O. Lineman.

If the Dolphins project between the 10th-15th pick, I wouldn' mind seeing Saban take Revis, if he declares. You can still grab that OL in the 2nd round, usually 1 or 2 will slip into the 2nd. I'd like to see Miami take a RB in day 2 of the draft and the one I like played for UMass tonight in the 1-AA playoffs, Steve Baylark. One of three RB's in 1-AA history to rush for over a 1,000 yards in all 4 seasons. Thus far has rushed for 1,658 yds, 5.8/att and 13 TD's. In his career, running for 5,030 yds and 40 TD's. He's got size (6'0" and 225) and a good nose for the holes. Worth a shot in the 4th-6th round rage.
