With Orton now the man in Chicago would a healthy Grossman be worth the Fins looking at in '06?

I think Mueller has a long list of QBs he's interested in and will investigate in the offseason. I would imagine Grossman is on that list but his injuries must be a concern.

Obviously injuries are a concern, but if he were to be evaluated as recovered from this ankle injury and previous knee surgery, I would have to think that he could help the Fins much faster than a rookie qb.

He's always hurt, so I don't know. I think Chicago will keep him around anyways, and I would not be surprised at all if they had him starting. Orton has not been very good, but Chicago is winning like the Ravens did, but I don't think that'll work in the playoffs.

I agree but if he were to get hurt again he would set us back even further because we'd be back to square 1 another year down the road. The other thing would be to still draft a prospect in the mid rounds in case he didn't pan out. Either way I'm not completely opposed to the idea because when he's been healthy he's looked pretty good in my opinion.

only way i would take him is if we overdose him on calcium everyday to get those bones strong

I think the jury is still out on whether he was starting nfl calibre qb independant of the injuries. He has been hurt so often I am not sure he has played enough to say he is worth pursueing.

I don't think that Grossman will ever be 100% healthy again. I would have to pass on him
