I'm just thinking about next year. I know the team experimented with Hadnot playing center in the offseason, but I forgot if he was any good. Please remind me.

Second part: What are the chances LeCharles Bentley will leave N.O.? Don't forget Mueller drafted him.

I think that experament lasted like 2 days... He didn't even play C in any preseason games.

I hate to say it but McKinney has actually played well, well enough to possibly come back next year, if we don't find a better center via draft or FA.

I dunno. I wouldn't pay McKinney good money to come back. I'd rather try to get LeCharles Bentley or draft someone.

In college Hadnot played at center and never gave up a sack.

Obviously Bentley would be a better center...

read my quote again.

I agreed with you. I just think that it won't be too hard to find better than McKinney elsewhere. But what do I know?

McKinney is pretty capable. He's played about as well as Dan Koppen has.

Exactly, I think he's finally lived up to his draft pick... I wouldn't mind if we re-signed him.

I think you are confusing Hadnot with Wade Smith. Smith had been moved from tackle to center but he broke his arm. I heard he was doing well but we never really saw him on the field.

keep in mind mckinneys backup is also a guy a lot of people would like to see playing. Ephraim is a huge nasty player that i personally would like to see playing, but if mckinneys before him that tells you something about mckinney.

Not me. I usually stay neutral about a player and let his skills sway me.

....Though personally, I was rooting for him all the way.

Hadnot got reps at C in training camp... dont know if he saw any time in preseason though...

I say don't try to fix what's not broken.

Unless... we can get a shot at Bentley in the off-season. He is a nasty guy and would be great in our running game for years to come with Ronnie.
