So, the Rex Ryan led Baltimore defense last year pretty much crushed us and our wildcat twice.
Last night, the wildcat really was effective throughout the game, and Ryan showed no ability to shut it down like he did last year.
Clearly he didn't forget what he did last year with the Ravens. So what happened?
1)Did Henne's arm strength cause him to alter his scheme? Henne, though a stronger armed QB than Pennington, brings the inexperience.
2)Is it more the fact that the Ravens boast studs Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and that with those guys they'll shut you down, where as the Jets just don't have that caliber of personnel?
3)Or is it something else?
I think Ray Lewis has made some DC's look awfully smart over the years, and have to think he and Reed(who killed us in the playoff game)were the difference.
