Rex Ryan keeping his job, making the game meaningless for jets

It's all over twitter now. Nonetheless, I'm sure they would still love to play spoiler.
 
Wow, can't believe Rex talked his way into more time.....I guess he's done an okay job this year with limited talent.
 
I still think the team plays hard for him tomorrow.
 
He's a good coach. Look what he's done with garbage at QB and a suspect secondary this year plus no real threats at the skill positions in offense. They could finish the season at 8-8 which would be a tremendous accomplishment tying a much more well rounded Miami team. I think Philbin has done a great job but we are only a game better than them right now.
 
i would not be surprised one bit if the Jets are looking at draft position going into next year, there are many teams right around 7-8 to 8-7, win and you pick around 20 lose you pick around 13, could be the difference in getting the player they target or missing out, this bodes well for us if true, LETS GO MIAMI.
 
I think this has to be considered good news for us given that Rex is 3-6 against Miami.
 
Rex has done a great job. He has no playmakers on offense and a crappy mistake prone rookie QB and if he wins Sunday he'll have the same amount of wins as Philbin. We should NOT be happy he's staying in NY.
