Rex Ryan to Dungy: Don't judge me

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan, criticized by Tony Dungy for cursing on camera, fired back Wednesday, claiming the coach-turned-analyst should watch his own mouth.

"I've been a big admirer of Tony Dungy, and I'm sure a lot of people are, but he unfairly judged me, and that was disappointing to me," Ryan told reporters at training camp.

Ryan said he called Dungy, a studio analyst for NBC and a devout Christian, and left a message that included his telephone number inviting him to camp anytime to "spend some time with me and the organization, and maybe he'll have a different take on it."

The controversy stems from Ryan's appearance last week on the first episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks," which captured Ryan dropping F-bombs several times in a team meeting. The story grew the following day, when Ryan mentioned that he spoke to his mother, who wasn't happy with his profanity on TV.

Dungy, in a radio interview this week, criticized Ryan's language, going so far as to say that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell should look into the matter.

I hate Rex, but profanity is everywhere. The filming is in THEIR territory, so I mean, I can't really blame them for doing what they've always done. I wouldn't suddenly talk perfect, clean English because I've got a documentary going on me. I'd clean it up a little, but Rex is just being Rex.
 
Fatso is apparently one of those douches who, just like taking the easy way out with his lazy lap band surgery lacks the energy or ability to express himself forcefully without profanity. However, in this case, Dungy the hypocrite should shut his own judgmental piehole since he's the one championing a despicable animal killer and inhumane torturer's reentry into the NFL.

So now Dungy is a bad apple for being a mentor to troubled players in the NFL :confused:
 
I wonder if Rex will say the same thing to the specialists @ the weight loss clinic at Duke University?

Its Rex's arrogance and Bravado that will lead to the jets crashing and burning.

For the record, Dungy is sheer class and the complete of opposite of RR.
