This is most certainly personal for him now.

He just might be more able to deal with a loss so long he is able to stuff the WC.

He will do whatever it takes to stuff the run game, especially the WC. I expect a major blitz package on 1st down AND then 2nd and long.

He 'knows' Fins WR 'can't beat' their DB's in man coverage. He defies the Fins. He has no respect for Henne nor the Fins offense - Unfortunately, I cant say I blame him.

This will be a completely different game, pyschologically.

Jets have the advantage - big time!

Revenge is theirs.
They came off a win.
Fins coming off collapse loss.
Fins dealing w hangover over collapse.
Fins dealing with Ginnitis.
Jets at home.

Too many intangibles in their favor.

Jets 34
Fins 20

You're crazy, I see Miami winning this game by at least 10.

Ok, I offered my rationale.

You merely 'see Miami winning..."

How exactly? Why?

Are you aware of the percentages for repeat wins in the NFL?

Do you really need explanation? How about 'we already beat em once before'? Or how about 'they're not as good as the Phins'? Oooooh! I got some!

- Rookie QB
- Key injuries
- They're the Jets
- Rex Ryan sorely underestimates the Fins.... again
- The Fins are just as mad and pissy after that lost as they will be all season
- They're the Jets

..... did I forget to mention.... THEY'RE THE JETS!

I actually agree with the OP. It could be ugly for the Phins - there's quite a bit stacked against them going into this game. If they pull it out, it just might save the season.

Sure, Jenkins is out, and that should make it a little easier for our running game. But I also anticipate Rex will have a better defensive gameplan in place.

All the emotion favors the Jets. All the momentum favors the Jets. It's in their house (well, the house they rent from the Giants).

No Jenkins

Without Jenkins they are going to have a very difficult time stopping our running game. He** they had a difficult time stoppinig the run with Jenkins.

I actually think it's a good thing we play the Jets after the loss we had to the Saints. We will be able to take all of our frustrations from the Saints game out on the Jets.

Last time Dolphins played the Jets the Dolphins won, and half of the Jets points were scored for them by the referees. Dolphins will win this sequel big time.

I hope so, I just dont think so.

Fins are on the defensive not on the offensive psych wise.

They are questioning themselves more than exerting themselves mentally given the media and fan uproar.

The Ginn thing is a distraction. They're traveling.

They could still play better and very easily lose.

Heart with Fins but smart money with Jets.

IMO the key to us winning is to run the ball down their throat and get pressure on Sanchez. I see us doing both, I think the biggest is getting to Sanchez early and often. I understand they're coming off a big win... against Oakland, I still look back at their game against Buffalo and like our odds.

Man the Jets got DOMINATED 3 weeks ago, I don't care WHAT the scores says. Dominated! They're not battle tested, they've beaten a good Patriots team, so what? I don't CARE! They lose to the Bills the week after, but then beat the Raiders and all of a sudden we're due to lose to them?! Please give me a break.

wrong about ginn if anything holding him accountable is all it should take to help other member keep thier focus and sends a message. (now if that message starts applying to our D we'll really get somewhere)

Second if this team is paying attention to the media and fans, I'd be very surprized given the leadership at the top won't tolerate that crap. If they are distracted ... well they need to play somewhere else, we need men not boys on this team.

I have to agree with the OP, I don't like our chances in this one. Missing Will Allen, maybe Crowder, Ginn has forgotten how to catch. They will likely have Cotchery available, they've had a few weeks to digest their mistakes against the Wildcat, they have film of the Saints D playing well against the wildcat, they're at home, confident, etc. etc.

Hopefully our OC is back to the drawing board with the wildcat cause you can bet your bottom dollar that fat Rex is looking at the saints film over and over where they were succesful in stopping the wildcat.....expect the same defense from the jets, blizting 2 DB's.

Also, those of you saying the Phins beat the Jets already, ergo, we will beat them again. It doesn't always work that way. In fact, unless you are a clearly superior team, it is difficult to beat a team twice.
