Rick "Goose" Gosselin's Mock draft (version 2)

If Leon Hall is availble there and Quinn is gone I dont see us passing him up. We need to fix immediate problems like corner before the future problems like DL.
 
Don't pay attention to his mock, the only one he takes serious that you should pay attention to is the one he releases the morning of the draft.

He said in a recent interview that his mocks prior to draft day are fake and he just does them to throw off the people who always try and copy him.

Hall isnt much of an upgrade over what we have though. Hes not a shutdown guy at all. Hes a solid player all around, but really our team is full of them anyway.

And if we really are moving J Allen to CB I dont see that as big a need.

Okoye im not that high on. DLine isnt a huge priority I think, and Ive just never been blown away with him. Good player, but not a fan personally.

Leon Hall will be a solid, but unspectacular NFL CB. He will not "fix" the perceived problems in our secondary.
 
This team will take a step backwards if they don't address the offense first, the fins need to score points so that the defense won't be under a lots of pressure. Ted Ginn Jr. pick #9
 
Whether it is or not a huge priority, dline certainly is a need and Okoye could very well be the highest ranked player on the board at #9 that fits into any need that this team has. Also I didn't think of it at the time, but he really could fit in and play a similar role to Carter.

Ya I know. I really don't think Oakland will go CJ or TB will pick peterson. I thought I would post it anyway.
You can bet though that I'll be reading his mock on Saturday morning. Gosselin is incredible when it comes ot the draft.
 
i dont think cornerback should be a high priority . if i had to prioritize our needs wouldnt it be like this.

#3 c
#4 wr
#5 te
#6 dt
#8 olb
#9 punter
#10 rb to fill in when ricky goeas on vacation again.:sidelol:

I like the mock 1 thing i see is that both SF and Buffalo both need lb's and i cant see them passing up on Patrick Willis.

And unless Landry or Peterson slips to the Dolphins, I can't see the Dolphins not selecting Willis either...talk about the best value pick at 9.
 
what a joke,his reasoning as to why we draft okoye is because we released kevin carter,,,MAN thats some serious research buddy.yeaa sure man whatever you say.

FRED EVANS IS GONNA BE A STAR,,,,THATS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW AS TO WHY WILL WILL NOT DRAFT OKOYE. WE ALSO HAVE TWO FIRST ROUND TALENTS ON OUR ROSTER THAT SEEM TO BE READY TO GO IN THE WRIGHT BROTHERS.....I BELIEVE WERE ABOUT AS SET AS YOU CAN GET AT THE POSITION.

well allen is at CB so now what? we have Allen, Allen, Daniels, goodman and add hall? then HIll and bell and worrell? we are over stocked there so no need to fix that in round 1. 2-4 I'm down. and Okoye? im sick of that mans name. we have 3 up and coming DT's and hopefully 1 or 2 NT's to come lets give them a shot before we spend the $ on another over stocked position. I rather go LB, QB, or WR in round one. Only over stocked position i'd pick up on is if Landry is on theboard w/out quinn.

exactly. all of his comments were common sense responses. we all knew half the ones he commented on. did he forget about Roth?
