I just watched all 4 parts on youtube of Ricky Williams in his first year with the Dolphins and I believe we went 10-6 or 9-7 that year... but some things that I noticed...
1. The o-line was the key Jamie Nails was a beast when he pulled as was the rest of the o-line... Now looking at this years o-line I can see us doing some of the same stuff if they can find another guard.
2. Rob Konrad should of got half of Ricky's yeards because he def cleared some holes up for him...this year we have 3 fullbacks to chose from.
3. Jay Fiedler managed the game and ran the play action to a T...I think that who ever they put in at Quarterback this year if they can just manage the game were going to win some games with Ronnie and Ricky.
4. Randy McMichael did a good job oppening some holes up and that is one question mark for the fins I don't know who can be that TE

I think its going to be alot of smash mouth football next year as it was that year...and if it is succesfull the playaction is going to be there all day escpecially with Ginn speed... I dont think were going to make the playoffs but i can see us going 8-8 and stealing some games...There going to know its coming but can they stop it!!!! The Ronnie and Ricky Show

The R & R express will be rolling this year. Our OL is going to be better than it was last year and RB led the league and fantasy before his injury. RB and RW are going to have big, big numbers.

the thing is we have a much improved run blocking line...so Ronnie Barring he comes back sucessfully will have a 1500 year...no questions...the problem is he might be facing 8 boxed in if someone cant step up in the QB department...which i think Beck will...but ofcourse thats IMO

A lot of things has changed from last season especially the run blocking so It just have to be better ( I hope, you never know).
If both are healthy then we would have a heck of a backfield. But a lot of other teams does have the same too...

 1500 yards, yes sir!

As long as Beck, Henne, or McCown can prove they can be a threat with their arms, then Ronnie and Ricky will both have big years. However, if we don't have a passing game, Ronnie and Ricky will be facing a 8 guy box all year long.

Smashmouth football is my kind of football. This team appears to be turning into a run-it-down-your-throat-type team. I love it!

well i hope that RB can return to his form from last year before he got hurt, same with RW before all the drug problems,if they can,and our O-Line is much improved,i'm one who'd also LOVE to see a smash mouth running game back in Miami, reminiscent of the 70s Dolphin teams!!!!

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here folks. Before the draft I was saying all along that we would draft another running back. I really didn't think we would draft two.

We will have to take our time with Ronnie. Realistically it is going to take some time to get him back to the same level he was at before the injury. We can ill afford any setbacks.

We all know Ricky was a great running back in the past but what we have with him is a bit of a mystery to me. I have questions about his endurance and his will to want to be a football player. I still don't trust him but he is cheap and on the team so I'll wait and see.

Jalen Parmele brings tough physical inside running ability to this group. I love the pick. He is exactly the type of back this team needs for the future.

When Ricky is long gone and Ronnie is healthy we could very well see a nice tandem with Brown and Parmele.

Don't expect big numbers from one single back this season although if it does go down that way it would be a pleasant surprise.

I'm looking for a committee situation myself.

I just dont want our team to rush Ronnie back from his injury. Let him get comfortable in TC running the ball. I wouldnt mind seeing Ricky start 2 or 3 games and have Ronnie come in the games and take some carries. I just dont want us rushing Ronnie back and messing up his talent. We have a backup that is very capable of taking a game over so why rush Ronnie back. I am so siked for the upcoming season, especially knowing the offensive line will be hard to mess with for opposing teams.

i love it too, especially when u can open the passing game up with it. hopefully we can become creative in time with the offense using a solid in between tackle power game!!! thats what i would love to see in time!!!

i am wondering how our 6th round draft picks are used too... how they stand in the minds of our staff. Lex as goaline??? Pamale may even push for a lot of carries i wonder. this is gonna be fun and interesting actually in the pre-seasons.

Does anybody really know how Ronnie Brown's knee is doing? We likely will not know until the season starts.

When was Ricky Williams last complete NFL game?

Both have to be huge question marks at this point

and leave ginn in single coverage....i like!!!

I really hate too say this ,but Ricky,s done guys. He,ll never be the same.He couldn,t even run the ball up in Canada.Just my thoughts.

That was the Ricky of 4 years ago. I seriously doubt Ricky in 2008 will be the same back. I like to see it but I doubt it!
