I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised that the draft is over and Ricky is still on the roster. I guess the new regime really likes him (and his salary!).

I am pleased that we took 2 RBs in the draft. In my opinion, it shows that we are not going to depend on Ricky. If he flakes out again, we won't be high and dry.
 
Ricky cost's us nothing to keep and he is still better than a lot of the RB's still out there. I consider him an insurance policy in case Ronnie is not healthy enough to start in the beginning of the season.
 
ricky will not leave this team again. i hate people who continue to hate on ricky williams. please hate on him when he along with ronnie brown take this team to the playoffs this year!

Wow, i wouldnt go that far.

But yes we needed insurance incase Ronnie's knee isnt back to old (knock on wood) and if Ricky messes up 1 more time he's gone FOR GOOD! But i really think Ricky will be a solid contributor this season and wont screw us over again.
 
I think the RB picks were to make the message clear nobody is safe. I don't think
Parcells is enamored with drug addicts like RW. I am outraged RW is still on this team.
He's a quitter, a sticky icky addidct and, only cares about football because he can't support his many illigitimate kids being a Birkenstock Guru.

BP got his kind of backs to pound the snot out of the nostrils of the old Patriot linbackers....Just like the Giants did.
