"Williams, who ran for 1,853 yards in 2002, asserted this is ''definitely'' the best offensive line he has run behind with the Dolphins. ''And the intangible is Tony Sparano,'' he said of the former Cowboys offensive line coach."

If Ricky feels this is the best line he has seen in Miami and he gained 1800 yards behind Jamie Nails and crew....Imagine the damage he and Ronnie will cause this year.

I did me alot of good to read this and hopefully it will for you other true fans as well. The QB position has not been the only inconsistent since Marino departed the Oline has suffered as well.

That is always good to hear. I hope Ricky and Ronnie come back stong. With a solid O line it should make it that much easier.

I can see Ricky having a monster season this year. I think Ronnie wil do well also. It's just going to take a little time for to get back to where he was before the ACL.

Damn guys I feel bad for you , Ricky puffing on the magic dragon once again.

Interesting that we turned down conversations with Eric Moulds and Koren Robinson. Moulds used to burn us. But he's got to be real old nowadays.

We turned down Moulds and Robinson ages ago. In fact, I think Barry Jackson was the guy that reported that ages ago...a few times. He's down to repeating himself, must be anxious for some news, lol.

I thought that was a very interesting comment from Ricky. Hard to tell, though, if he's judging based on what he sees in front of him or if he's judging based more on the acquisitions...because there is absolutely no doubt this regime paid more for better OLs than any Dolphins regime prior...maybe ever. Two first round picks, one a #1 overall, a top 3 position free agent in Smiley (meaning, he was among the top 3 free agents at his position), a second round pick that looked pretty damn good last year in Satele, and then a surprising rookie.

So, I think...Ricky could just be referring to the $5 million a year contract for Smiley and the #1 overall pick of Jake Long, added onto the presence of Vernon Carey and Samson Satele.
