Does anyone have the details on RW contract, is it his old contract minus last year? He owes WH 8+ million thats 8+ million does WH just say forget that 8+ million ? does he trade RW and if so whats he worth? If its his old contract ? How could we keep him past the final cut and stay under the cap, or does he not count until game 5 ?
Thats alot of if's but it's kind of intresting when you put in that 8 milliom

He is playing the veteran minimum which is $540,000. However, it will be closer to $400,000 after he serves his 4 game suspension.

so why all this trade talk, why trade him

because we don't really want him. we have ronnie brown. Saban wants picks so he can build his era. plus, if you saw last night, rickys not going to be much help IMO.

but whats he worth, he owes WH 8.6 million leagal straight up regardless if he ever came back to the team whats that worth. it's intreaging. and if we do trade him who is going to give us a 1st rounder thats what he's worth and for 600k thats a pretty good back up for RB and get some value out of ricky maybe make him worth a little more????????

Ricky didnt help his trade value at all last night. I doubt we will be offered anything of value till after this season.

Ricky's contract is the league minimum. It was reported last night that the Dolphins put the 8.6mil Ricky owes "on hold" till they see if Ricky is serious about playing and staying off drugs. Basically, he still owes it, but the Phins arent going to take action to make him pay it. If Ricky plays well this year (and plays the rest of the year after serving the suspension) then the Phins will probably forgive a sizable portion of the debt.

what happens if he plays like he was playing then what do we do?? and RB does the same and we end up with two power house runners??

I heard the same thing in 2001 against the Rams in the preseason HOF game.

i dont think Ricky owes the 8 million now that he back... otherwise i dont see how he is going to pay that back making 500,000 a year... even if hits incentives...

can someone confirm about the 8 million??

The $8 million is put on hold for now. We're going to see if Ricky really wants to play football.

first preseason game.. 8 carries...behind one of the worst O-lines in the NFL....

im sure on another team Ricky would be playing better especially after the preseason..

wouldnt mind trading him for something....
