Just imagine if Ricky played last season. !st we probally would have done ok 9-7 10-6 Fielder would still be the QB and Wanny would still be the coach. We wouldn't have drafted where we did and Wanny would still be the draft guru and trading all are picks away for 3rd stringers. Now even look at us and even a bonus we get one of the best RB in the game love him or hate him for pennies. If he can come back and get his head back in the game we could possibly have the best 1-2 puch backfield in the game or trade for a good QB or draft pick. If not it didn't cost much.Because you know this would all be true if we finished above 500. Ricky made Fielder look like a decent QB because of the Ricky threat and Jay was exposed for the fraud he was when Ricky was gone. Think about it.

You are correct sir!

Totally ridiculous. When you consider a player dooming your team to a 4-12 season a favor, no matter what happens because of that season, it's just completely absurd. It seems like people are trying to find new ways to accept Ricky back. Don't anybody ever do me any favors like that, ok?

Yes, indirectly, he did do us a favor. You can forgive but don't forget what R Dubb did last year, and how you felt at that time. We need to cheer for him with a critical eye, and also to make that point indirectly takes some of the responsibility off of RW shoulders. I want him back but he HAS to be accountable to his teamates for his actions....

maybe there was a method to rickys madness...do you guys remember when he called wanny and told him ill come back for more money and less carries...he knew the whole offense was centered around him...maybe he knew the team would struggle without him and that wanny would get fired...and that they draft a RB so he wouldnt have to carry the ball 400 times...plus he wont have to pay 8.6m back and he has 3 kids to provide for...hes still an ***hole for what he did...really that he quit right before camp and make everybody go through a 4-12 season but now looking back at it he did do us a favor...

4-12 is history, there is nothing you can do to change it. Obviously Ricky leaving hurt you, try to let it go, look to the future and what can he do for us now and the future. Most of the fans are not trying of finding new ways to accept Ricky back, he is coming back and your gonna have to accept that one way or another.

The ONLY thing he will do for the Dolphins is create a constant distraction.

I am not trying anything. I would accept him back just the way Saban is doing the bottom line is Nick probally sees a way unbeknow to us that Ricky can help this team. How that is we can only speculate. Who am I or anyone else for that matter to question his decisions. I have not been so pleased with the drafting and the way he's been running things lately. So who are we to question his desicion making about Ricky. Athletes today are troubled and have a lot of baggage. It''s the way sports are today. Like it or leave it. Rickey is no different.

In most cases one guy is not the team but, sit down with a pen and paper and make a list of last years team w/o Ricky and a list of the previous years with Ricky and answer that question again about one player making a huge differance.

This has to be the silliest thing I have ever heard!!!!! Before last season started, Miami was touted as a front-runner for the SB. Then Ricky starts perhaps the darkest chapter in Miami Football history. He turns a storied franchise into a joke. It is like The Dolphins are Charlie Brown and Ricky is Lucy....I am just waiting for Lucy to pull the football away again and watch poor old Chuck fall on his ***.

I am not a Miami fan in the least bit, but even I can see that taking Ricky back tarnishes the once proud Miami Dolphins.

Saban, this is not the way to start your pro career. Soon you will be sipping Ice tea with Spurrier.

How? Explain how this tarnishes the Fins? A team that went 4-12 and is doing what they can to win games and bring in the best talent only make Saban shine.

Yes you make a good point about being considered a favorite but, the Jets have to be one of the most unluckiest teams in football they have been trying to get back to the SB for an even longer time then us at least we have been there a few times since the 70's. With guys like Rich Kotite as coach. He completely destroyed an Eagle team and ended with a 1-15 record then the Jets still hire him talk about a joke.
