Does anybody remember Ricky dancing around trying to find a hole in 2003? Then when he quit dancing it was like he was running into a brick wall? Don't you think that had a lot to do with him retiring? He looked just like Ronnie does right now. Have you seen the holes Cadillac has been running through, until we open some holes and the line gets comfortable with Ronnie and Ronnie gains confidence in the line, what you see is what you get. So calm down and enjoy seeing this team grow.

I agree, but did you see the tacklers that Cadillac was carrying on his back for positive yards? That is what has impressed me the most in most of his runs!

As far as Caddy's situation in Tampa goes, Pittman ran 7 times for 46 yards and a 6.5 yard average against the Bills.

Not taking anything away from Caddy, cause I wanted us to draft him, however, Pittman could probably have put up the same, if not better, numbers than Caddy did against the Bills, had he been given the ball 20+ times.

Ronnie is taking on players behind or at the LOS a lot. His dancing is more so a product of poor line play (no push) then a guy who doesn't know what he is doing.

Also on Ronnie's 9 yard run he made a nice move to find a hole when the hole he was suppose to run to wasn't there.

The past few years ALL our RB's have danced behind the line, that tells you something... (most of Morris' big runs came from bouncing to the outside)

Ronnie looks EXACTLY like JJ Johnson did his rookie year. Remember? Our O-Line didn't even give the guy a crease to run thru that first year....After a few games, he would take the hand-off and put his head down just to make sure he would get some sort of positive yardage.

I really believe Linehan has to get creative in getting Ronnie the ball in open space....like the play Ricky runs when the entire offense goes one direction and the QB pitches the ball for a sweep in the opposite direction.

That's the other thing I don't understand, I thought we drafted Ronnie partly because of his hands. Why aren't we throwing him the ball or lining him up outside.

I disagree, JJ Johnson did not show the power Ronnie has shown. Watch some of his runs that he has gained positive yards on, Ronnie picks up an extra 2-4 yards after contact. JJ Johnson would simply get tackled at contact.

One play I watched over last night, Ronnie hit the hole and met a Jets defener at the LOS, Ronnie pushed the LB back for a 4 yard gain and a first down. That is power.
