Im a firm believer that Ricky can still be EXTREMELY productive.....
His stats last week werent the greatest.. but the one play that Shown me that he lost a step. and something that would never happened before he retired.. was when......... Samuel Made him look like he hit a BRICK WALL!!!

i know the guy is a hard hitting CB... but come on.. Ricky would normally punish a guy like thaT!
 
pfffffffffft Samuel UNLOADS when he hits. He has done this before and it means absolutly nothing in relation to Ricky except he got jacked up. I thought perhaps Ricky's bell got rung and he was dizzed out for a while. That sob Samuel can hit, that's for sure.
 
I've been fairly pleased with his production(low expectations), but he resembles his old self in no way.

Samuel has turned into prob the best hard hitting CB in the leauge. It's like he makes one BIG hit each week.

understandable but the 330 lb angry RW wouldn' tlet taht happen nor would have been possible but this soft im a sissy and "cant we all get along and love eachother" ricky has no anger/motivation/or love for the game as you can see he is quiet and just running for money, you can tell from the way he talks and his body language. saban feared taht about RB saying he was too nice and in football u need some anger to be successful and that emotion but RB is too nice n is sacred to hurt ppls feelings but apparently that isn't hte issue has he seems to show some pation and celebrations after a hard run but rarely does it.

Ricky may have lost a step but he occasionally shows flashes of his old self....I think the main problem is Ricky use to get 30 carries and sooner or later he would break one....now he gets 10 carries and he gets the ball on predictable run situations. He also has 4-5 guys focused on bringing him down. :shakeno:

I guess we are just going to have to disagree. You are a doom and gloom kind of guy, and sometimes I agree with you, just not this time. I don't think it means anything at all. I suppose the answer lies in his future performances. I'm not a Ricky lover and have a long history of not wanting him on this team so it is akward at best to be defending him, but "I" don't see any softness. The team would see it first and would have been like sharks on him if he showed any soft.

I agree. If he was hit like that 2-years ago he would not have been stopped like he was yesterday.

I still think Wicky can be a very productive HB for us and is far more valuable to us than simply trading him. However he is not the same HB that he was 2-years ago, and without a doubt the same HB of 3-years ago!
