I'm over here now
Is it just me or did no one really congratulate OR HELP Ricky get up after he was tackled? It jsut seemed like he was out there by himself after every play. Any ideas on this?

didn't notice it, but I wouldn't be surprised.

All of our guys have a good reason to be ticked at him, and he didn't make a lot of friends in New Orleans.

on the contrary i saw teammates helping him up...../shrug

i saw him get helped up once. didnt pay attention though. just remember it.

It will take some time for most to forgive and forget. But if we keep running the two of them like we did today, we will win alot more games. I would like Gus to be like Big Ben and throw about 15 passes a game. I know that isn't Linehan's deal, but you have to play to your strengths. Look what the defense did today with a little rest.....

I noticed guys helping him up. The guy ran hard today and had a really good game. Looked to me like he was a member of the team and not just left by himself.

I saw him getting helped up a few times. I also saw him laughing and joking with several teammates.

I see Ricky talking and joking now more than ever.

He is not here for the money. You know he'd never really have to pay back that 8.4 million. That settlement was more about principle than practice.

Ricky is here cause he wants to be. And I love him for it. I was disappointed after he left last season, but he is an awesome guy, very smart, and very much his own person. A rare commodity these days.

I agree with you. I suppose many fin fans are fortunate enough to have a life of little challenge. But for those who have faced challenges and came back...I believe Ricky is an inspiration.

I've seen no evidence whatsoever of any animosity at all towards Ricky. If anything, he seems alot more popular then when he left. He used to sit over on the bench by himself, now he seems like he actually has some sort of social interactions with his teammates.

He used to lay on the ground until he was helped up by a teammate after every play. If I remember correctly, it's something he has done for years, so he saves energy. He's only being run part time now, so it's not a big deal.
