Is it just me or did Ricky look really good tonight? But then I looked at the numbers and he had 10 carries for 31 yards, one of which was for 11 yards so his other 9 carries went for 20 yards total. He only had two carries over two yards.

I was really surprised when I saw his numbers because he looked really good out there.

Ricky really looked great but that TD drop was brutal.

His drop reminded me of that drop last year from that Wildcat formation where he was wide open on the right side about 20 yds downfield. Brutal is right.

Somehow I expected more from Cobbs and Pollite.

Amazes me how excited people get about a player like Polite who played pretty solid last year but has bounced around the NFL. Plenty of people act like he is an elite FB for no apparent reason. Nothing wrong with hoping but really this is quite a stretch.

hes 32yrs old, but hes playing like someone who was out of football for a couple years, and since hes not starting hes gonna have a lot left in the tank. this is good. he did really well lastnight. im glad we have a good capable back up for Ronnie.

I would love to see Hilliard get some first team reps. I think he can play.

Ricky ran hard last night. He played some with the first team and quite a bit with the second team. Against thier first team D we could not run the ball at all, Ricky had the one good run on the second possesion where he stiffarmed the defender out of bounds. Most of his good runs came against thier second team D.

Ricky ran very hard. The Jags were getting penetration up the middle and he had to fight for most of those yards. The drop was bad no doubt but his running was all about will power and fighting for the extra yards. As expected he is good to go for the new year.

He hasn't lost anything...He looked better than Brown...

I have to agree. Ronnie looked sluggish out there and Ricky looked like he was rejuvenated with something to prove. Ronnie better step it up this year if he expects a big contract.

Hilliard looked good too.

I love Ricky but he dropped another TD pass OMG dont throw to him throw to Ronnie he is a beast.

Are you guys seriously worried about Ronnie after a preseason game?!? The man had 4 carries!! FOUR CARRIES!!! Ronnie Brown is IMO the best player we have on our offense! If it wasn't for him, we never would have made it to the playoffs last year... I thought the "Vontae Davis is a bust" comments were retarded, but this takes the cake...

Ronnie will be ready Week 1, don't you worry about that! The more appropriate thing to say would be 'Lets hope he doesn't get hurt', because Ronnie Brown is a FREAK.
