Whos the three man running line up? Im going with Ricky Ronnie and Gordon. Morris and Heath are the FB. This is just so up in the air to me. What do you guys think?

Ronnie

Ronnie's a stud and our no 2 pick overall. Trust me he's gonna start

Well Ronnie wont take all the handoffs thats for sure. He was only taking half the duties at running back at college so lets ease him in gently. He can catch so we'll use him in 3rd downs and have him in pro set IMO due to his ability to play out wide. I expect Ronnie to block as well because hes done that well in college. Brown from what ive read and seen can do it all at RB. Morris, Gordon and of course Ricky will all get to see the ball. I dont know about Jay-Kay so i cant comment on him.

What a differance a year can make huh, now were talking about our 3 man running team! I dont think Heath will have much playing time thats for sure. Situational downs thats it for ol Heath. Also I think Gordan has a good chance of being traded now that we have ricky and ronnie.

Tailbacks

Gordon and the other back rbs wont feel the ball this year. Ronnie and Ricky are 2 good. Ronnie's a beast with basically no mileage in him.

Well Ricky wont see the ball until week 6 so someones got to back Ronnie up. Gordon will get a shot IMO.

I think we will probably keep (next to R & R) Gordon and either Kay-Jay or Minor. I hope Kay-Jay shows enough to finally rid us of Minor, because that guy can't go side to side to save his life. He's fast, but only in a straight line, and you don't get many straight lines in the NFL. Morris should stay on as a FB/HB, but Heath is probably the starting FB.

not that im rooting for him. but we do have a 26-yr old rookie named kay jay harris as well.

Most likely Saban will only keep 3 RBs and trade/Release the rest. I want Kay Jay to stay myself but I dont see him beating Gordon for a spot.

Gordon has not proven anything, so to assume he is a lock is not valid.

He's proven to be kept in the nfl for more than 2 years...KJ's age may go against him in this situation....but on the other hand, isn't it great to have a RB controvesy..who to cut, instead of who to get.

I'm not saying you are wrong. Obviously, Ronnie will be starting while RW is suspneded. But when Ricky comes back, I think more and more carries will start going Williams way and we'll see them both on the field with Ronnie catching more passes and them both playing decoy for the other.

What about poor ole Travis are we going to dump him off some where?

You know what would be eery if it were to happen? If he ended up as a Jet.

In Madden, I traded Jay Fiedler to K.C., he started for them, but they let him go the next year, the Jets picked Fiedler up, and they also picked up Travis Minor through Free Agency.

The year in the game was 2006, Curtis Martin had retired, Chad Pennington was the starter, but he went down to injury, Fiedler ended up the starter, and Minor was their starting back! I know it's just a game, but even in that game they know when a team needs help in certain areas. The Jets went 6-10 and 4-12, Fiedler then retired.

Only thing with that is that Derrick Blaylock is a better back than Minor, so I doubt it will happen.
