Ricky Trade Secnarios

I'm in favor of keeping Ricky UNLESS somebody wants to give us a first-round pick (HIGHLY unlikely IMO), or we are able to use him in a trade to move up and get Leinart.

The idea of trading Ronnie Brown, the future of the franchise, is incredibly absurd. Ronnie Brown has the potential to be a HOF RB. My dream is to see us build the team around Ronnie Brown and Matt Leinart.

Matt Leinart + Ronnie Brown + Chris Chambers + Randy McMichael + Improved OL = Offensive Juggernaut in two or three years
 
Don't worry. Although he is probably considered a stronger possibility than some guys for a trade, he will not be given away. Remember how much Saban believes in value, and remember how much he seems to like Ricky on the team.
 
Thanks for the article. I think Ricky will remain here 1 more year, then he will get traded.
 
I would not trade Ricky regardless of the offer....he is without a doubt the best back we have!
 
I don't think Wicky has any leverage. He either pays for what his contracts says or he doesn't play. I seriously doubt any NFL franchise is going to give a high draft pick for any NFL player that is one failed pee test away from being out for 1-year.

And on a personal level I think Wicky is worth far more to this team than what they could get in a trade. The R n R combo IMO was an absolute success!
 
I think Ricky stays for another year unless some great trade comes through. The truth is that he's a Saban guy: works hard in practice, does what is asked, and gives 110% effort for the team. Saban would like something premium to give up a guy like that.
