Ricky Weighs In At 225

With ricky splitting the running load with Ronnie Brown, it's just going to keep the two of them fresh. When it's the 4th quarter these 2 should be breaking off some huge runs. I can't wait to see these 2 in the backfield together.

It'll be miserable for defending defense's. If our OLine opens up ANY holes, watch out. I cant wait to see this!

What about them getting stronger as the game goes on? Just a question, cause I don't know. Do any of you worry that by splitting time, they won't get into a groove?

I would have to think it would suck to face two running backs of this calibre in a game. As the game goes on the defense always tires but at least the runningback tires too. I can only imagine how good Ricky and Ronnie will look with 15-20 carries against a run down defense.

Also this doesnt get brought up much but we are also rotating tackles. That means our Oline is also going to be decently fresh come the 4th. Scary thought.

I don't. I think Ronnie is used to it and Ricky was always lightning in a bottle.

Besides if getting into a groove is a problem you start one in the first half and have the other spelling. Then reverse roles for the second half.

What a surprise Ricky got all the way to 225lb... NOT ..

He looked great to me in Pads today on ESPN news.. Not as big as 2003 Ricky, but still with Ricky vision and maybe more speed. I can't wait... Oh ya we have a stud called Ronnie Brown... I can't wait to see this.. Please motion Ronnie from FB in an I-Formation to a slot reciever and make a LB cover him 1 on 1..

Thats kind of a falacy(sp) most of that "getting stronger" is actually the oppositions D getting tired.

Saban didn't want him back at his old weight anyways. He wanted him around 225 and that's where he's at. I can't wait until Sunday.

On a Side note this just validates some pretty heated arguements about Ricky being able to get back the weight....We had more than a few discussions on the board when Saban welcomed him back. Im sure no one will show up to eat it but they know their crow is waiting :D.
