Ricky Williams contract talks

i have an idea........let offer him the league minimum....and an ounce of crypty every week.......he'd definetly go for that.
 
i think he wants the fins to pay daycare for his kids.....he cant cover it..
 
Let it go!! He is worth more than we are paying him now, and if they get a new deal done that is heavily incentive laden, the unseen incentive $$$ can be brought over to next year. Which means we would have the ability to spend more than the actual cap as Minny did this year! Best for both worlds.

He would have EASILY surpassed 100 yards if his num,bers waas called a few more times in the 4th quarter Sunday

I don't get this. He had 80 something yards early in the fourth quarter and he was getting stronger (he busted a 15 yarder on his second to last play). If he was given 23 carries who knows what he would have amassed, but he'd definitely be over the century mark.

Why wait??? he is worth less because he hasnt had a 100 yard game... get him now before he starts producing for less money...

What if he doesn't get another 100 yard game.

I agree with kastofsna, lets wait a little while longer before restructuring his contract, it can't really hurt us.

Well... The only way we could pay him less would be to cut him. He is making the league min.
 
I just dont have any doubts that he is capeable of it. I mean, I have seen plenty. I saw it after he got comfortable in the preseason after he got comfortable... and I saw it Sunday vs. the Saints after he got comfortable. He can produce. Talent doesnt just disappear. And if we are gunna keep him... I would like to have him for as cheap as possible...
 
The "o-line" is getting better but ricky has to do more himself than just 1 game
and ask for more money!
 
I say we lock him up now for a long term deal for as little as possible. Make the contract incentive laden so that he has a reason to produce big numbers. It's a win-win situation.
