ROFL! :goof:

Yeah for that magazine they call "HIGH TIMES"

I don't think a quitter in my opinion who violated the NFL substance abuse policy will be a Hall of famer.

LT is in the HoF.

If Ricky goes 6 more years and averages 1500 in each of those seasons, how does anybody keep him out? He'd have 15000 yards or so in that case.

If Ricky goes 5 more years and puts up 10000 yards total in those years, how does anybody keep him out?

I think what Drew said isn't really as outrageous as what it is being made out to be. He didn't say it was likely. He said it was possible.

He will have to play lights out for like 6 or 7 years to even be considered in the HOF.

He was easily on pace to be a HOF RB before he quit. It just depends on how long he plays and if he plays the way he did before he quit.

My reasoning is this.. There is no chance in hell that he plays 6 more years..

Ricky wont play more than 3 more years imo.. And I dont think he really cares one way or the other regarding the HOF..

if he playes for a while he might but if he playes for a year or 2 and retires then i dont think he would go in the hall

Ricky may have no intention at this point to play 6 years longer, but he has already established that his personality is somewhat volatile or erratic. If he is in a situation where he is accepted and has fun, I could see him playing 10 more years if his body allows it.

agreed...IF that happened he's honestly a lock..at that point it wouldn't matter that he quit just before TC during one of his seasons and took a year off. The only one who'll remember is Wanny, because it cost him his job. :D...and the fans.

I truly hope he can accomplish something like that. Truth be told, he wouldn't even be the strangest guy elected into the HOF. There are plenty of players who've had MUCH stranger lives. Riggins is the 1st that comes to mind :)

Now, do I think it's possible..you bet!

Do I think it's probable..no...I just don't think he'll play long enough...but he certainly has the physical skills.

There is always a possibility but it won't happen. Ricky is only here to play out his current contract and then he is as good as gone imo. He only came back to keep the 8.6 million...which is probably gone by this point. The thing is, had he not quit, he probably would have been a lock, given his track record and the likelyhood of being productive for another five years. However, he doesn't care.

It would be interesting though if Rick were elected in. He may be the only guy in history to no show his own induction ceremony.

LT was the best defensive player of all time, Ricky has had 1 HOF caliber season. Let's see, you say if he averages 1,500 yds a season for 6 more years he'll make it? I'll agree w/ that but considering he has gained more than 1,500 yards ONCE in his career I think it's alot to ask a guy who sat out a prime season and is coming back to rush for 1,500 yards the next 6 seasos, don't you think?
