I just wanted to know everyone's opinion on Ricky Williams. The Dolphins have given him several chances for a comeback, but he hasn't produced many numbers and lately has been plagued by injury. Can he be an efficient backup to Ronnie Brown now that he's 30 and hasn't been on the field much in the past 2 years? I like the addition of Jalen Parmele and Lex Hillard in the backfield, so why keep around a aging back who has caused numerous headaches for the Dolphins.

keep him cos he has experience skill knowledge! this will be his last year with miami but we need him to do his job. Ronnie wont be back to full fitness by the start of the season so he needs to stick around. we still have lorenzo booker who showed promise at the end of last year and Jalen Parmele is more of a FB than a RB. Hilliard could develop into a good back up but thats not a certanty after his knee injury.

Booker's gone. Ricky stays.

Its the last year of his contract, and he never really had that great of a contract. I think Ricky will have a very strong year, since now he has something to play for, besides just the game itself. Not that he needs any motivation, but when Ricky is on his game, there is no better power running back.

It is costing us nothing to have him on the roster. Teams still have to respect him. If he screws us again, it wont hurt us too much because we will be prepared. At this point we all expect it from him.
