Ricky's Bong Tour Good For Dolphins?

I cant believe anyone would try to spin Rickys quitting on the team as a good thing
i think it was a good thing.
why?
1.) Wanny goes bye-bye
2.) Fiedler is gone
3.) Gave us a great Draft
4.) it gave ricky time off to heal, so he should be fresh to go by the time he can play.

Well I always said it at least broke the mediocrety that we suffered since Shula finished, but I'd hardly thank him for leaving the team. It played a part in ending that Wanny regime and got us a good pick at #2, but I don't think teams will start rebuilding under the Dolphins model.

Does anyone think in a few years the Falcons will convince Vick to leave a few weeks before the season atsrts so they can get a new coach, good picks, and begin a new era for him to come back to?

Let's all take the time to thank Ricky. As mad as we were for deserting us. At least 1 fan is glad to have him back. Good luck Dolphins

not ALL of us feel like thanking Ricky.
I'd rather thank McKinney, or Minor, or Thomas, or any of the other guys on the team that actually put forth an effort last year in spite of the turmoil and embarassment. They had the discipline to show up, do the work and stay clean. I'd rather thank Timbo who in spite of tremendous pain did everything he possibly could to return to the team before finally being forced to give it up.

To thank Ricky for returning to do a job he was supposed to do anyway is an outright insult to those guys who didnt quit.

But you go right ahead and thank Ricky.
