Ricky's "past" failed drug test results

Was it ever leaked, revealed, made public what substance caused Ricky WIlliams to fail his test?

It wasnt marijuana, we know that.

There was hope that RIcky would be exonerated at his hearing so that made me believe it was a substance from an over the counter product that still fell on the NFL banned substance list such as ephadrine or Ma Huang from one of RIcky's yoga supplements or tea.

Not that it matters now because it costs Ricky and the Dolphins but I find WIlliams to be bright and pretty forthcoming so I doubt he intentionally took something he knew was banned.

It was an hostilic kind of medicine used for yoga I think.

It was over-the-counter supplements. No one knows what exact chemical it was.

I got pretty scared when i saw the title too.

I never knew it was officially stated that it was something in a supplement? MaHuang herb I'm guessing?
I always thought it was a missed test which counts as a failed test

Sorry guys didnt mean to make anyone crap a brick.

I guess I never thought of it as a missed test, that is true that it counts as a failed test but I thought it was revealed that something did show up and they stated it wasnt marijuana.

The nfl needs to revamp its drug testing policies. first off the only drugs they should be testing for are steroids, instead they are running full panel tests. secondly if they are testing, the results should be made known within a reasonable amount of time to allow for a retest. If they reveal what they believe to be a masking agent in a players system that should trigger an automatic retest not an automatic positive. Lastly all results should be made public this nonsense of the player being entitled to privacy should be waived once he enters into a contract with the NFL.

It was in the upper category, and it came in the form of a herb. that's all i know

Its suppose to be undisclosed information. You won't know unless someone leaks.
