I was watching the game as the Phins drove down to the goal line and I thought, 'run a naked boot because A, EVERYONE will bite on the play fake, and B, Ricky's about due for a fumble. Next play I see NO LB's to Ray right, then Ricky fumbles.

Clump:
Go away and let us woller in our misery.
It was a fumble if your crew is a bunch of Jet homers and call a one sided cheating ass game.

The worst game called this year.

That's the biggest onfield reason why the Saints wanted to trade him. He tends to fumble at the worst possible times... probably because he's got such small hands and has so many 300+ pounders grabbing at the ball.

I've been watching him some this year though and he does look like he has gained some speed. He still runs the same though. That extra speed will probably bump his usual average of 4.0 ypc over the season to 4.2-4.3 which is obviously better. He did tend to start off fast and then finish slow in New Orleans as well.

Well, Brad, ricky didn't fumble that one either, he held onto the ball untill after his knee hit the ground... another pathetic call by the refs robbed Miami yet again... Miami should have had 17-21 points (depending on wether or not they would have been able to drive it in from the 1 after the "fumble" was overturned like it should have been.)

Actually, from the endzone.....it appeared to me that Ricky's knee was actually on the Jet player's arm, thus it doesn't count as "knee down".

However, the ref made the correct call because there was NO conclusive evidence. If the call on the field had been "No fumble" then the ref would have had to uphold that as well because there was NO conclusive evidence to the contrary.

That call pissed me off.Even in the replay, I could see that was not a fumble.

you can't blame ricky's "small" hands for this fumble/non fumble. it was the whicked hit he took just before dropping it. he was the one lucas was calling for the trainers to come out for. emmit smith would have lost the ball with a hit like that...

fumble or not i believe that ricky recovered the ball and then was stripped of it at the bottom of the pile.

Ricky has fumbled no more than an the NFL average this year. I will take the 811 yards he has given so far in return. So would anyone who has half a brain, which excludes Bill and Jet fans. That fumble was a B.S. call and everyone knows it. His knee was clearly down.
Don't worry Clump, you are living on bowrrowed time. As terrible as we are, you are right there. Your worst days are ahead and I will enjoy your tumble when it happens, and mark my words the clock is running...tick-tock...tick-tock...tick-tock.

on the radio post game -- Ricky said -- it wasn't a fumble -- he said he felt his knee hit the ground so he let the ball go. He let the ball go??? what back is letting the ball go at the goalline? Looks like he got knocked silly for a second on the replay - i don't think he even recalls losing th ball. It's tough to really see what people at home saw since i was at the game.

it was not a fumble, BUT there was not conclusive evidence on the replay to overturn it

Ricky got popped on that play and I thought we was seriously hurt and it was one of those letting go of the ball as soon as the severe pain hit. Then Ray started calling for trainers and I was  . Luckily our future and only hope for stability on O is OK. :D

I agree 100% w/you burghPhinFan that Ray should have been rolled out with 1 receiver in a pass/run option or even just a naked bootleg :fire: sometimes I think Chan takes over Norv's brain and Lamar takes over Ricky's body

Clump? shut up!

There wasn't a jet players arm on the ground anywhere near Rickys knee.
The rest you have right though.
