endorcements for ricky will depend on his play. if he goes out and sets the world on fire, he will be right back in the money, if he plays so so, no easy money for him.

even if Ricky plays great, he is still to 'ify' in the eyes of other teams. They won't pay what his talent is really worth. He really shot himself in the foot last year.

Then again there is the 49er's They seem to make crazy/dumb/stupid moves every year.

I could see him getting a short spot at the end of some commercial as a joke or something - like an SUV commercial with someone and then a shot of Ricky in a beat up old hippy van or something.

I was thinking more about the pets.com sock puppet than about this, but it's sort of the same idea. If Ricky can take a joke, somebody will find a way to use his fame (or infamy).
