Whom (analyst) is almost always on target when it comes to his/er mock draft predictions?

For me it's Mike Mayock. He predicts that Derek Barnett will be our man at 22.

I want Lamp...but I wouldn't punch the TV if Barnett is the choice...#54 had better be Dion Dawkins, or I'm punching the TV.

Would not be upset with Barnett at all. Reminds me of OV a little bit with a slightly better ability to run the arc to the QB. He looks to be a little more disciplined at the college level than OV was too.

Guard in round 2 makes sense but I have a feeling Lamp, Feeney and Dawkins will be off the board and it will be close if Dorian Johnson is still on the board at 54. After those 4 you might as well wait till later in the draft for someone like Isaac Asiata, who the Dolphins seem interested in, at your comp 3rd pick.

I'm not as excited about Barnett as others but I wouldn't hate the pick.

The most accurate mock drafts get no more than 9 correct each year. That's a little better than 1/4.

I won't be upset with any defensive pick at 22, but I would be very surprised if it's not one of the two Michigan players. Ross being their biggest doner shouldn't impact the pick, but I have a hard time believing that it won't.

That list of Michigan players tells me one thing:

DRAFT OHIO STATE PLAYERS.

Are those that are correct only in the first round?

I hate these crazy assumptions based on nothing but pure imagination.

I doubt he's there at 22 but if he is there's a good chance he'd be the pick

Ozzy rules!!

We will be facing TOUGH 3 techs this year and I'm not sold on Bushrod keeping them out of the backfield for Ajayi or Tannehill's sake.

As the draft is getting closer and closer, there's more talk about the quarterbacks. Sounds like three could go in the first round when early there have been mocks with none. I could see the Jets and Cleveland getting quarterbacks before pick #22.

If that happens and the three offensive lineman go quickly, some good defensive players will fall. Hard to imagine that Barnett could drop that far, but I think that would be a great pick for Miami if he's there.

Peppers, Davis, Charlton would all seem to be in play. Davis, in a sense, feels like the obvious choice at a huge position of need. But the Dolphins do have a lot of needs. Miami has brought in a lot of safeties to interview. Round two will be very interesting in that there should be some really good safeties there. Where would that leave the team at OG?

if only trubisky, watson, and mahomes could all go before 22, that would be nice. (If kizer also goes ahead of us, it would be amazing. can't really see it, but stranger things have happened)

He broke Reggie White's Tennessee record for sacks so I'm down lol I'd love Lamp, Reddick, Peppers if any are still there.
