Riley Cooper......

I thought Riley Cooper was going to be a baseball player like that Jeff Samardzija guy from Notre Dame a few years back (I think he is now with the Cubs). We already have two Riley Coopers on this team .....Camarillo and Hartline. This guy is not a #1 WR so I doubt we would give him a look.

finnegan of the atlanta falcons comes to mind... he has an "okay" career but you can't help but wonder what he could've become with a healthy knee... i really liked him as a receiver


but yeah, there aren't a lot

Great great great blocker, great speed, great hands w/ circus catch abilities (albeit sometimes drops the easy ones). Not a return guy. And also doesn't have the upside to be a #1 guy in my eyes. I can't pinpoint exactly why, I just don't see him as a #1. So for the Dolphins, no thanks.

Because he is a White WR

that automatically rules him out for being a #1 guy

You remind me of people in the 90's who say that African Americans can't be QB's. There weren't many but over time you saw more pop up and become successful.

The few that are starting right now are probably on their way out. ala J. Russel, J. Campbell, D. Mcnabb, and D. Garrard

Vince young is probably the only whos job is safe, and even he has struggled
 
I can't stand Riley Cooper. Yeah, I'm a Gator Hater to the core but this guy is nothing but a punk *** with a bad attitude.
 
Coopers a good player with no attitude problem at all. He's a great athelete, but not right for the Fins. He chose Football over Baseball and could be a pro in either.

Your sig makes me think you play for the other team - not that there's anything wrong with that...
 
Riley had a contract with the Rangers but chose football instead. He has a lot of upside, but isn't what we're looking for in a WR. Like someone already said, we already have him on this team and he wears #82. Good speed and size and a good blocker. It's really weird though. Sometimes he'll make the acrobatic one-handed catch or the big one on 3rd down, and then the next series he'll drop a gimmie.

Brian Hartline is 6'2. Kevin Walter is another "big white boy" and hes pretty decent. just sayin.....
 
Ed McCaffrey was pretty good. Wasn't a number one because he was across from a hall of famer but he could have been.
