Rishard Matthews Mic'd Up

he has come a long way. I am actually surprised they didn't cut him when things went bad in the spring

Why would they cut him? They refused to trade him because they saw value

Good for Rishard...

You can also see the value of Jennings on the sideline...almost like another coach for these young WRs...

Great video.

They have a lot of decisions to make at the end of the year contract wise, all the time vested in him was worth it. Hope they decide to keep him.

because in the past this team did that, esp under Philbin. Vontae and Marshall come to mind. Would we be better with those two here?

Sheds new light on the theory that this kid is some attitude dbag. I saw a high end team player that doesn't play "me me me". Man the more time goes by does Philbin look more and more incompetent. Kid just needed a legit chance that he wasn't getting.

His catch for the first down on the first drive when he got blasted by the safety set the tone for the rest of the game. I saw that hit live and he is a tough SOB.

Loved all the coaches reaction on the sidelines when Taylor picked up the fumble. DC has all these guys fired up.

No doubt he is motivated to play because it's a contract year. I would like Miami to look at other areas and leave this position of strength in the offseason

Amazing conclusion based on 1 edited Mic'd up feature.

You do understand that his attitude had to do specifically with the fact that he was never given a fair shot to earn a starting position with Hartline here...how frustrating it must have been to see that limited athlete get trotted out there each week week while he was delegated to relief duty based on a mistake he made as a rookie.

All any player wants is a fair shot...when he got one he been an all in player and has produced.

he was most upset when we drafted Parker I think. Miami is so young and cheap at WR right now, that this core staying intact is imperative. Tannenbaum has swung for the fences and has made some mistakes, but gutting out the expensive, aging, oft-injured WR's was a brilliant plan - and to me a direct correlation in understanding the offense you run and the personnel you need.

This, to go with Bush, Dansby, etc. Anytime a player had a diffirence of opinion Joe and Co. were quick to dump them! I was seriously thinking Rishard was gone.
