After the Packers got that fake punt he lost it on Carroo. Looked like he had the film already and was saying “I’ve shown you this before how can you miss this”.

If Gase is canned and I’m not in favor of that fwiw Rizzi would be my choice.

The guy has been in Miami for a long time and has seen multiple coaches fail. Therefore he would have a quicker turnaround and evaluation of what needs to be changed than an outsider that may need 1 year just to evaluate their roster.

Rizzi gets the bottom of the roster every year (hence he’s the ST coach) and year in year out they perform. New kicker each year no problem, new return guys no problem, block a punt or FG sure I’ll take the leftovers and Coach em Up.

Oh and he isn’t afraid to scream at an official.

Like I said I’m still hanging with Gase for now but the candidate I’d lock up if he’s gone is already in house

Rizzi has some quality’s I really like in a HC, fiery competitive guy that players wanna play for. The issue is for that to work he’d need very good experienced coordinators who can handle the play calling duties. With that being said I’m still riding with gase for one more year. Let him draft a QB and bring in a few more players and see if we take a major leap forward. When he got here he didn’t have much flexibility in terms of roster, and this season he was forced to bring in cheaper vets and they all planned out (Amendola, Gore, Wilson) are 3 of our best players. Cutler and Osweiler are Gases big screw ups but give him a chance to use real resources like a top pick to get a QB and see what happens

Sorry to burst your bubble but Adam gase isn't going anywhere all the injuries will be another excuse to keep him around another year

Remember when Dan Campbell was the interim HC Rizzi was basically the guy behind the scenes helping him out with the day-to-day.

If this goes south quickly and Gase ends up fired (I doubt this'll happen, but still) I could see Rizzi getting the shot as the interim.

Proven HC? You all realize that proven HC that are good don’t usually come available.

Now I know you’ll say Harbaugh from Baltimore.....where’d he come from before Baltimore? Oh yeah Special teams coach

And I reiterate I’m still in favor of Gase but Ross makes the call not me or you

He's a great coach, but he's not a great coach because he's fiery. That's just his personality.

He's been the best coach on the staff for a while now. I wouldn't be upset if he got a shot ... although - not gonna lie - I don't know all that much about him.

Pete Carrol was a ST coach at one time.

If we cannot hire a top veteran coach, then we might as well promote Rizzi.

Gase and Burke are in over their heads.

The results speak for themselves

I like Rizzi. I bet if you gave him quality coordinators he could win games. Gase has always leaned on Rizzi, you all remember year 1? They were basically attached to the hip on the sideline

Bill Cowher was a special teams coach too, saying that not endorsing rizzi.

What is it with people needing a coach/QB that screams and shows emotion? Does that equate to success in your eyes? I get that passion is a needed quality.....but it doesn't need to manifest itself in screaming and "fire" non stop. I like Rizzi too and if something happened that he got the nod I would certainly be rooting for the guys success but what on earth gives anyone the idea that he could lead a group of coaches and scheme an offense? Because he's "fiery"??
